We follow the F.W.N. principle, i.e only implement Flash animation or navigation where needed. Flash, whilst it looks great can often lead to slow to download pages that the average surfer may not hang around for. Flash does not necessarily sell your product or service. It wins awards for webdesigners but unfortunately that does not always help the client. Flash "intro" pages are particularly avoided by us unless we can be sure it is useful for the client. They are commonly termed "skip intro" pages, because people look for the tag before waiting.
